Because God is good: Psalm 100:5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Because HE is ready to forgive: Psalm 86:5 For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in lovingkindness to all who call upon You.

Because we are already convicted of sin: John 16:8 And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
Because of his Kindness1 Chronicles 16:34 O give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
Because of HIS uprightness: Psalm 25:8 Good and upright is the LORD; Therefore He instructs sinners in the way.
He is the stronghold. Psalm 119:90 Your faithfulness continues throughout all generations; You established the earth, and it stands. Nahum 1:7 The LORD is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble, And He knows those who take refuge in Him.
